NEW DELHI: Indian Railways will soon start sub-projects aimed at introducing semi-high speed trains on the Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai routes, a senior ministry official said on...
Delhi-Howrah will be via CNB-Lko or Ald-Mgs. High speed via BSB sounds impossible
this can be very successfull commercially , if each route has 12-14 racks , uniform classing and trains to run every hrs ., so that passengers use them at every hours and feel i.e. take this as replacement of flight i.e. 2 hrs check-in ., 2 hrs flying., 3 hrs home to airport & airport to city ., thus at 200 kmph and 8 hrs jouney infra needs number of racks and frequency of 1 side departures minimum 15 per day
Paper waale ne galat quote ker diya hai, CNB-ALD-MGS route hi hoga, via LKO, BSB to abhi 110 MPS bhi nahi hai use 160 tak upgrade karne me bahoot samay lagega.
