You see BP Mail being rescheduled for 18 hours every second day. Why is IR keen to start a train with that delay that too on a route which it considers as most dense route?
You complain ministers about NHLN AC geting delayed before Kanpur because controllers are not following the timetable and all you get is an advice that it is fog.

NE cancelled, Avadh Assam cancelled, the trains which are running, none of them are on time or anyways any closer to their schedule time. Also Tripura Sundori got the same treatment.

I feel that minds of officials are prejudiced in a way that, 'acha PSK hai, rok dijiye usko, jyada fark nahi padega' and then 'Arey Prayagraj hai, isko nikaliye bhai, itni important gadi hai'.
Trains in NCR like SG and PR, the ones in which ministers and VIPs travel, get such priority. I remember, Mr. H.C. Verma, famous Physics professor from IIT Kanpur once took PSK from GHY-CNB 1-2 years ago. As expected, the train ran in the same way with its massive delay. Our officials clearly have got to differentiate between VIPs and do their job.

That is because a large chunk of pax boards the North-East bound trains at these stations and not just at Delhi. Agar congestion ka naam dekar trains ko dusre route par shift kar doge to log jayenge kaise.
