it is very difficult to attain speed at high altitude.... and so many speed restrictions in that route
Kam avg speed wale section pe shatabdi chlana kya shatabdi ki insult nahi hai....
Then according to this logic 𝑀𝐴𝐻𝐴𝑅𝐴𝐽𝐴'𝑆 𝐸𝑋𝑃𝑅𝐸𝑆𝑆 should run with avg speed of 100+, its the experience and facilities which define the train category than its so called avg speed. There are hundreds of trains with avg speed of above 60 Kph but in actual they give avg speed of max 50 kph due to heavy delay and there are train which run with avg speed of 80+ and still run before time, then what's the point of avg speed? In IR its all about category and experience train give.
Ye train speed ke lie nahi balki services ke lie jani jati hai the high class service and comfortable journey which is not possible in Sampark Kranti, Ranikhet or Intercity. High class business & executive persons and also tourist use it. Aur rahi baat itne nazdeek halts ki to ye sub halts important hain apni apni wajah se is area me islie isko sub jagah halt diya gaya hai.
