Bullet (High Speed) Train in India??

(1) Bullet train ko Bharat mein chalte dekhne ka sapna to kai Bhaytiyon ke man mein ScindiaJi ke pehle bhi Raha Hoga, Main swayam bhi 1987 mein TGV train ka lekh padhne ke baad sochta tha kaas aisee trains hamaare desh mein bhi chale.

kiya gaya, lekin isko iomplement karne ka koi sarthak prayaas nahin kiyaa gaya.
(3) PM ka sapna Bullet train kaa bahut mazaak udayaa gaya kyonki jaankaar log jaante the ki market se loan lekar iske liye bahut badaa, sasta liye practically koi sabse mushkil karya- funds jutaane ka kahin jikra bhi nahin hota tha. PM ne isko implement karne ki hammat dikhayee.
(1) Many Indians dreamed of existence of High Speed Bullet Trains in India even before Mr Scindia have thought of having them in India. After reading a technical literature of 270kmph TGV trains in 1987, I too wished that such trains should run in India.
(2) Since last decade, many announcements have been made in rail budgets about introducing HSTs on various routes in IR, but no concrete step was taken to implement it as the knowledgeable people are aware that most of the operating HSTs are not making profits and are subsidised by Govt.
(3) Bullet train is dream project of our PM and a lot of mockery has been made by the opponents of this project/PM. Thanks to efforts and diplomatic success of PM, extremely lucrative loan has been negotiated with Japan which has made Bullet train project feasible with economic rate of return of 12% which is a decent figure. All the brick bats about bullet train has gone to PM, and all the credits too must go to him.
(4) Actual benefits of Bullet train to IR/India shall depend how it is implemented, which will call for many innovative ideas & practices and we can only hope for the best.
