however GZB, being RB's pet, has more HOG locos so failure there still doesn't cause major issues mostly. BRC and HWH on other hand have comparatively less, so they operate on tight margins.

Yes that's true. Infact they shud try to dedicate fix HOG locos to the particular Rajdhani and shatabdis so that they are properly maintained.
Hwh has almost 10 HOG P7s now.. So HWH Raj daily gets HOG P7.
