Who gets the vacant HO first? Is it General WL or Tatkal WL? Mr Jitesh, you have given the simplest possible answer, but do also consider scenarios like these.
General waitlist will get the vacant HO quota. If there is a spillover, maybe Tatkal will be considered. But generally Tatkal will be only in Tatkal. Unless some pull strings Tatkal does not get HO or other VIP quotas.
HO quota is released one hour before chart preparation for the requests accepted by the DRM office of the concerned zone(it can be for any quota, GNWL, PQWI, RLWL or CKWL). If after that some quota remains vaccant then it will be released to confirm GNWL, PQWL, RLWL & then CKWL
I appreciate this line "If after that some quota remains vaccant then it will be released to confirm GNWL, PQWL, RLWL & then CKWL". Just wanted to know if this sequence is confirmed and documented somewhere.
I have read it some where but not having the documented record with me but I m sure about that first of all it will clear GNWL & then other quota wait list and at last CKWL.
