I still remember , people used to call poorva as Deluxe express.after MGS (towards HWH) next stoppage was DOS (Quite big station, industrial area) and then GAYA.
Today I saw on the internet that this train also halts at BBU (Bhabhua road) and SSM( Sasaram) between MGS and DOS( around 118 KM section) and then at anugrahnarayan road and rafiganj between DOS and GAYA.
So earlier poorva had 1 stoppage between MGS - GAYA (204 KM section). Now the same section is having 5 stoppage of this superfast train

Barh,Danapur stoppage should be removed.. As these can be catered by Baktiarpur & Patna.
So weird that so many stops in one state. Also explains the lack of connectivity between close towns. Ab Dehri on Son - Sasaram 18 km or Patna - Danapur 10 km should have better road public transport service than making long distance SF halt.
Typically in my view GAYA-MGS,PNBE-JSME,PNBE-MGS section needs some EMU, which will cater the needs of small distance passengers
