Nice pics... good to hear that #EDFC works are starting towards Gaya. Even if this project reaches till Asansol by 2019 Lok Sabha Elections and starts freight train operations then it will be a BIG thing... coming till Dankuni Jn will take time and I have no idea about the MGS-LDH stretch progress :)
Freights have started plying on the edfc in mgs-dos section I believe
The EDFC Facebook Page had uploaded a photo of a WAG-9 hauled Freight train for trial runs which was successful but I have no idea about regular freight train operations on that small stretch. Nitin Sir or Piyush may be able to answer about this stretch :)
Mgs-dos DFC is completed....bass 10% kaam baki hai...nearly it will started by dec17......95% track clear hai...but 30% electrification baki hai.....ssm dos ke bich k depo ya sayad fuel filling bann raha hai....construction chal raha tha...
