prince maan~ 1092 blog postsIf a person boards Janshatabdi express with general ticket despite having hundreds of vacant seat, it is compulsory for the TTE to charge 300 Rs (250 Rs Penalty + 50 Rs reservation expense for 2S)? Can anyone have any clear idea about it, if yes kindly reply.

Every TTE in that train said the same thing that the rule has been changed, according to new rule unreserved passenger is bound to pay 300 rs. to travel in 2S.
File a complaint and enquire which tte was on duty that day and they will take action
My friend tweeted the matter to DRM Ambala. But we don't have any substential evidence to bring an action against them. These TTEs take the benefit of urgency of the passenger, in many cases passenger just pay the money to get comfort regardless of corrupt practice of the TTEs.
I think 12365/66 is the only Janshatabdi where u can board it with WL ticket. Besides in future pls check for current booking b4 u board.
Ttes always lie for taking bribe its there funda to scare innocent passengers who are in hurry
