I had hoped that SWR would use Anga's old ICF rake for few specials but nothing.
I have seen that this train has good occupancy in UR coaches. If it is made daily and speeded up, with more UR coaches, then will be better. It has good timings while coming to YPR as an early morning train from the twin cities to the capital with decent speed.

Yes it needs to be speeded up especially YPR-Harihar, most dont prefer this train only because it reaches Davangere at 23:30. If it can be made to reach atleast by 22:30 definitely many would catch it. The whole problem for this train is Tumakuru-Arsikere single line section, sometimes it takes 3hrs to cover this 100Kms due to too many crossings.
