As the Achalpur - Murtizapur - Yavatmal and Pulgaon - Arvi NG lines are now in CR's custody, and Akola - Akot - Khandwa is under GC, a thought came in mind about having a new line between Pulgaon (PLO) and Varangaon (VNA) via - PULGAON - Arvi - Tiosa - Chandur Bazar - Achalpur - Anajangaon - Akot - Telhara - Jalgaon Jamod - Muktainagar - VARANGAON.
As the current line between Nagpur & Bhusawal is already being utilized over 110-120%, This new line will provide and optional route specially for goods trains as well as will provide FIRST TIME Rail Connectivity to many important places.
