Do any body know how the mechanism of Trainenquiry works ? I mean how the delay time is updates ?

Now many(almost all BG) section are equipped with Data Logger system.The info is passed to NTIS (national train inquiry system) either automatically by data logger(fitted at small roadside station for auto updation) or by operating control in Divi HQ who monitors each train movement or by station having stoppage by manual data logging.
The system automatically updates itself in case of no further update or point to point update by station who have stoppage of that train(visible to public) and calculates delay status as per programing of NTIS system....
