Bidar MP requested the extension of Latur - Mumbai CST Superfast express to Bidar for the benefit of Udgir, Bhalki and Bidar region. Suresh prabhu has agreed for it and extension will happen from April 26th 2017 as per attached news clipping. Also requested for Bidar - Amritsar for Sikh pilgrims of north India.

I was thinking about the extension of intercities\passengers which terminate in SC or HYD. As you said long distance trains I don't think it will be extended to BIDR in near future.

I couldn't really understand his logic in extending trains from sc/Hyd to Bidar. If trains arr extended they have to go bidar in morning and return in evening what traffic will it generate between sc and bidar during morning time god only knows. Generally people come from smaller to bigger cities during morning and return in evening. It would be better of they develop tellapur as terminal and extend trains like AC Gautami MTM exp which have primary maintenance at originating stations.

Sc has so many constraints here are few
Gowtami wont be extended beyond sc as it looses sf status and crew allocation is one issue and general pax has looby which impacts scr.
And reg mtm exp they can try till lpi or vkb at max,but scr dont want it to happen and recently is is proposed to get sf.
And travel time
...
in between sc and lpi is also one issue,it min takes 1 hr to travel in sc and lpi and that effects mmts trains.
And bmt not having loop is also a issue and lpi not having crew looby is also a issue.
And no land is available for sc div,scr asked for land at miyapur in city limits but ministry of highway central govt has rejected as it has to perpendiculalry cross natiinal highway to give land.
And scr has asked to shift sanathnagar goods yard and use that yard for passenger halting, that is temporarily kept hold as state govt did not gave land to ministry of industries telangana govt and will be recalled again when works in snf mly mmts phase two is over.
And scr asked state govt to give labd at htcy that is also rejected by ex andhra govt.
And scr has proposed to develop cherlapali and ravulapalli kalan as terminal, ravulapalli kalan was rejected at initial level only where as cherlapali is going to get only two new pf's inspite of new pitlines abd new terminal.
There is lot more to write......
