How is traffic managed with just single platform and number of halting trains 50
These Are The Things U'll Only Get To See In ECR ! :D
Actually Train Traffic Control Has Nothing To Do With The Platforms As There Are 2 Main & 2 Loop Lines Available !
They Somehow Always Manage To Place Important/Reserved Trains On PF 1....Dunno How :D
But Yeah.....DEMUs & Unreserved Trains Often Get Placed On On The Main Line....As A Result...

Actually they also use the main line as a platform. Few years ago my grand parents had to face huge problem as their train Darbhanga Puri Exp arrived on the main line and a passenger train was standing on the pf. They had to cross the passenger train and then board the train .
