At present route is fit for 120kmph in non-monsoon season.
But The route is tested for 160kmph.
And even this Tejas will be a slow train with average speed between Mumbai to Karmali/Madgaon to be 53-55kmph only.
Even after inauguration of Tejas, the TVC rajdhani and MAO Janshatabdi still will be the fastest trains on this section.

It can be approved. Because it was built to handle high speeds like 160 kmph. Also it is less of curves and inclines. But due to few accidents, speed was reduced. Only in monsoon, it is little bit dangerous to run beyond 100 kmph.
Livery looks just fine BTW talking about the Max speed in konkan, its only 120 km/hr and that too for only Rajdhanis. P-Way is fit for 160 km/hr run but bcoz some accidents in the past now its strictly confined to lower values.
