Take a cab for nzm from airport.
For metro You will have to take cab till aerocity metro stn from airport then you will get down take tokens if you dont have card plus frequency of trains in airport Express line is every 10 min. Then exit from New Delhi metro then another cab till nzm will take time and you may not be able to catch train. Plus if you have check in luggage then luggage pick up from airport may take another 10 min and 10-15 min flight delay is common at IGI.
