As per reply received from Ministry of Indian Railways, chord line at Daund is already sanctioned which will at as Daund bypass connects Pune Manmad line.
As per railway, work is in progress. But I didn't see any work happening there.
If it completes then it will be great for non stop trains like Duranto, KSK & goods trains.

Line suggested by you is not possible as it is Daund Village area and empty space though that area is not available.
