Today I am facing a very odd situation from IRCTC.
I booked a ticket on 17-Mar-2017 and the PNR is 6162722734, at the booking time the situation was RAC 11, now in the IRCTC website I am finding that the status is WL2.
I never found this kind of situation before.
Can anybody please tell me why this has happened?

Running status is always the status at time of booking only..The original status is the PNR related and the same will be put in the station chart and always under the PNR
