Though the Railway Ministry and RM seem to be biased, I am really happy that they indeed pay heed to the needs of the public via PG PORTAL.
RM has paid heed to need for Thakurli terminus, 12-car emu on Harbour, new rakes in harbour line, all fast emu to be 15 car as suggested by myself in one of previous PG regarding death and cleanliness issues in Mumbai suburban area. Even for the paid certain heed to following ones.

LESS AVG SPEED.
Grievance Description : There is a likelihood of CR to start AC Double Decker Express from Mumbai to Madgaon. This train will run for almost 9-11 hrs. I have traveled in Double decker train from Mumbai to Vadodara which was roughly 5 hours travel. It was discomfort travelling in that train for one main reason, I had just one bag with me i.e college bag which was fully packed but I was unable to keep the bag in space (above the window seat) provided to keep luggage and of course there was no space on ground too where I could keep the same. Reason for the less space provision could be the double decks upper and lower. I had to keep my heavily stuffed bag with myself on my lap throughout my journey and it was really uncomfortable, tough the travel time was just 5 hours. I have even traveled in Shatabdi Express on same route Mumbai to Vadodara and I didn't have the same problem and the journey was much more comfortable, tough it was more costly. Here, for Mumbai to Goa, it will be the matter of 10 hours travel almost double travel time. Many people including myself think Double Decker are uncomfortable especially for long routes i.e travel time more than 8 hours. It is a good or rather manageable option in shorter routes like Mumbai-Ahmedabad where the travel time is 7 hrs only. But, definitely, for long travel of up to 10 hours or more, it could be uncomfortable. Shatabdi Express would be a better option for Mumbai-Madgaon. it will be very comfortable and safer than Double Decker as Shatabdi coaches are lighter in weight and are smaller than DD coaches. It will be more costly as food is provided onboard Shatabdi Express, but if good quality food provision can be made people might readily accept the concept Shatabdi train in this route. Still, if not a Shatabdi, then it can run as AC Express with Shatabdi LHB coaches (same as Mumbai-Nizamuddin AC Express runs with Rajdhani LHB coaches). Double Decker can be used for smaller route like Pune-Surat, Mumbai-Shirdi, etc

2. SUGGESTING EXCHANGE OF PUNE SHATABDI AND MAO DD within CR zone. COZ SHATABDI RAKE COULD NOT BE ARRANGED AS DD MPS WAS RESTRICTED
Grievance Description : I had given an grievance (Registration Number: MORLY/E/2015/02593) about new train AC Double Decker that instead of DD, to start a Shatabdi, then I had got a reply Railway Board that Presently, adequate number of Mail/Express (daily/week days) train services are available between Mumbai and Madgaon, which is considered adequate for the present level of traffic. The matter raised by you is not a grievance and you would appreciate that points raised are fresh demands/suggestions. Thanks for the same. I do not understand why that kind of reply was given that my matter of the request for a new train i.e a Shatabdi is not grievance where now above GRIEVANCE CATEGORY is given i.e ' Railway-Request for new train'. and adequate trains are there in this route was also said by you, but still, a new Double Decker train 11085/11086 is given now. Again I want to bring to your notice. This 12 hrs travel in train like AC Double Decker is not desirable. CRS has given only 80 Kmph clearance for the DD train in KR route, forcing it to run for 11-12 hrs and that only tri weekly not daily or 6 days a week like other DD trains of India. Whereas, Jan Shatabdi runs for almost 9 hours. I had request for a shatabdi rake to be used instead of DD rake for the AC SF. Shatabdi rake are similar to Jan Shatabdi, are capable for maximum allowed speed in KR i.e 110-120 Kmph, making a travel time of 8.5 hours and also it could run Mumbai to Madgaon and return from Madgaon to Mumbai, the same day. If new shatabdi rake cant be provided to CR,then there can exchange of Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi and Mumbai-Madgaon AC DD. Major reason for this would be DD would be allowed for 110 Kmph in Pune-SC route but in KR, it is restricted to 80 Kmph. But Shatabdi would surely be allowed for 110-120 Kmph in KR.

Details : Thanks for your suggestion. However, at present, to replace Double Decker rake of LTT-MAO Double Decker Express with Shatabdi rake of Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi, as it would require CRS sanction and may also lead to resentment among travelling passengers on both routes.

3. MAKING RB REMEMBER THE 150 KMPH TEST RUN IN KR, FOG and MONSOON PROBLEMS, AGAIN REQUESTING A NEW GATIMAAN TYPE TRAIN
Grievance Description : Subject:- Request for new train- Mumbai-Madgaon non-monsoon Gaatiman/monsoon shatabdi. Around 2003, The test run was carried out in Madgaon-Roha section at 150 kmph with Shatabdi LHB rake. Making Madgaon to LTT travel in 6 hours. I know there have been technical challenges in the konkan route because of Monsoon and other natural causes but that does not put a full stop on the Rajdhani Express travelling via same route. Even in the, High speed section of Agra-Delhi or CNB-Delhi, there are technical challenges like of fog, in which recently 12171 LTT-HW AC Express was hit by NR EMU train killing the NCR Guard present in the EOG of the AC Express. Not only that, Goa Express and Mewar Express collision. Still on Agra-Delhi route, there exists two High speed trains namely Bhopal Shatabdi (150 kmph mps) and Agra Gatimaan (160 kmph mps). In fog, The Shatabdi runs with an average delay of 2-5 hours in december, january and february months. Similarly, there are problems in Konkan too during monsoon but that doesnt make is unfit for TVC and MAO Rajdhani. WDP-4 is fastest Diesel Locomotive till used at maximum only in ER section with 130 Kmph NJP-HWH Shatabdi Express. WDP4 locomotive should be used to maximum of 150-160 kmph for the proposed gatimaan project of Mumbai Madgaon Gatmaan. Already upto the rdso level, testing is done. From year 2003 to 2016, a period of 13 years was enough for the konkan route to get upgraded from 120 kmph to 150/160 kmph by receiving crs sanction. I request the Railway board to please take interest in this project which was abandoned in year 2003 for Matsyagandha accident reasons. November to May 7 non-Monsoon months, the 160 kmph mps Gatimaan should run while in June-October Monsoon period, same train can be made to run at 110-120 mps for safety reasons as a shatabdi. The present Double Decker has more seats but the travel time is double i.e 12 hours, the coaches are not fot for Konkan route and problems of motion sickness happens. Note:- RDSO Speed certificate is attached for reference. I hope the positive reply would be given.

In a vast country like ours and with limited resources available with the Railways, it is not always feasible to connect every two pairs of stations by direct train services. However, connections are generally available. Passenger can avail the change-over facility to reach their destinations. Further, introduction/extension/increase in frequency train service and stoppage of trains is an on-going process on Indian Railway subject to operational feasibility, traffic justification, availability of resources etc.

4. THANKING RB FOR PROPOSING TEJAS TRAIN AND SUGGESTING IMPROVEMENT IN THE TIMETABLE
Grievance Description : Subject:- Timetable of CSTM-KRMI Tejas train. Firstly, I am very thankful to the Railways for giving tejas train in Mumbai Goa route as I had requested in my previous pg grievance, about the need of the semi high speed train in this route. But to my surprise, the timeslot/timetable given to this train is not even of a superfast. In addition to that, Mumbai to Goa will be a late night journey in AC Chair car / CC. The travel time or the average speed of this train no where looks like that of a Semi High speed train for sure. It is not even of a superfast. Tejas train coaches have mps of 200 kmph which is highest ever in IR. Rajdhani and Jan Shatabdi in this route run with a mps of 120 Kmph and have a good average speed i.e the travel time is much lesser than this proposed Tejas train. However, the cost of the Tejas train would be more than that of Shatabdi trains. But, when this train doesnt even come under the category of superfast, how will the high cost of this train be justified? Hence, I request IR to run this train with timeslot faster or as fast as Jan Shatabdi with mps of 120 Kmph. Infact, I suggest, the Dadar-Madgaon Jan Shatabdi timeslot should be given to this Tejas train. Jan Shatabdi should be extended upto Vasco and can run as reverse i.e Morning departure from Vasco and afternoon arrival/departure at CST and late evening arrival at Vasco. This would require transfer of Janshatabdi from CR to SWR with two rakes. or please somehow provide a good timeslot to Tejas train and madgaon terminal
