There was a tour Package to explore this route and two districts of Kerala and Railways even agreed to attach an extra coach in SRR-NIL Passenger specially for this tour Package. But unfortunately ,due to less popularisation ,the package now stands cancelled.

I did not demand long distance.
Why cant mangalore or pollachi trains from nilambur ?
A lot of people will be there if its to coombatore also.

I agree..... the passenger which starts frm nilambur at 0910 can be extended to manglore. In the return journey next day it reaches nilambur at 1835. So no loss for the people but an extension has happened.
