Hon RM Mr. Suresh Prabhu toady informed to press reporters that, ministry is working on dual purpose tunnel in Autram ghat which will have road as well as railway line. This will give direct connectivity to Aurangabad with Manmad-Indore line at Dhule.
He also informed that Aurangabad is included in 1st phase of tourism circuit plan...

Aurangabad~~Chalisgaon railway/road line & Autram Ghat tunnel project is progressing very slow inspite of two good ministers are there i.e. Mr Prabhusaheb & Gadkarisaheb!
A 250 Caror tunnel drilling machine is being imported for Autram Ghat Tunnel. This will speedup the work. Dual purpose tunnel with road and railway line is almost sure now! News is published in today's Divya Martahi (10thJUN2017)Aurangabad edition. Work will start after 8 months as per news!
