Motamarri–Vishnupuram New Line.

Motamarri–Vishnupuram New Line - is the line that connects Vijayawada-Kazipet line to Guntur-Hyderabad line. One of the intermediate station is to come up in Jaggayyapet Town. I visited this town yesterday. Here are some pics and info for interested railfans.

I saw a couple of WAG7s hauling a department coach-like one used for workshop/restvan and such..... on Vinukonda to Narasaraopet section. It was moving fast from Narasaraopet side towards Vinukonda.
It was early morning and passed before I could take pic, also my bus was moving fast too. But my co-passenger said that some goods trains he has seen go with Electric locos.

I dont know. I have said whatever I could gather. So thats what I was told there, thats where station will come up. In Google Maps Mellacheruvu station can be seen, so naturally this bigger town "may" get one too. Anyway, like I said this is just info I came to know.
Doubling of this route seems doubtful Because of forest clearance. This route is still waiting for its completion. Some major part is already covered and crs Between Balaghat samanpur is likely to be on 15 Aug 2017 Delayed by 1 months As earlier it was planned to July 15. Tender for electrification of Gondia Jabalpur was already released and electrification Between Gondia and Balharshah is About to Finish.
