Just to keep u guys informed that the GKP LKO Intercity express now runs with german designed LHB modern AC chair class coaches.. so makes it a far better option than the Lucknow GKP Volvo ac buses. Remember that this train runs with a SINGLE ac chair car.. so seats may not be that easy to get..
If u miss out on getting seats on this train, ur next bet is to try other trains. If that also doesnt work out, then u can book the VOLVO airconditioned luxury buses that run from Lucknow to GKP. .. There are 3 buses daily to and fro, departing at 8am / 10am, 4pm and 10pm... The night buses are always more preferable as the traffic is lighter on the highway. Buses depart from the Alambagh Bus terminus in lucknow, about 25mins by autorikshaw...
