PASSENGER TRAINS
Every time we are discussing and lot of people are requesting about Duronto, Rajadhani or other Mail/Express trains only. But I never saw a request for a new passenger train and more interesting thing is I never saw an empty passenger train also, always fully over crowded.

Pune Nizamabad - 773 Kms

Instead of the number of people travelling in passenger trains, it will be instructive to see the matter as person-hours or person-km spent in the train by the two different user groups. Wont a long distance traveller travel atleast 20 minutes for every minute the short distance traveller travels? With that the 95-5 division which you speak of becomes anulled.

Whatever be number, IRI itself is not serious to make any further updation of these trains, for the reasons,
1-Travelling users are not interested in this data updation or those who are not travelling in Passenger trains are not bothered about its state of affairs.
2-Laptop mobile, ipod weilding generation have no time to think about 'major india' . ...
