Adarsh Kumar Jain 3 blog postsIf a train like 'Rajdhani' which instead of makeup the delay, its further loosing delayed time in hours, so what will the fate of others train on Indian railways,
Instead of covering the delay which was 1.30 Hr it's now reachin 4-5 hrs delay.
Hope it reaches before 5 hr delay.

bcoz Rajdhani's have heardly been given any elongated slack times dear.
this train has 25 minutes of slack times for a distance of 1441 kms while for 2314 has 35 mins.
While other Express and SF Exp trains has slack times in every Bigger stations and stations where zones changeover happens.
Getting delayed more is a slightly different perspective for different trains in IR

Yes definitely it happens such bcoz the timings it was set on TT was based on line clearance and minimum number of trains to be overtaken While once atrain departs late, the other trains will have a higher preference than usual and hence Rajdhani gets late.
Seems some problem in the Gaya - MGS section on 24th/25th Sept as 2274 HWH Duronto was abruptly late at HWH.
The UP trains was also late as a reason.

Yes sir. Once the train is late delay gets further increased. I have seen this in many cases.
