A GOOD TRAIN BUT HISTORY OFFLATE IS ALWAYS LATE FOR ARRIVAL AT NDLS & HWH IN BOTH DIRECTIONS AND IN PARTICULAR WHEN VIA PATNA !!
For some unknown reason on both side this train is intentionally delayed almost every day to pass Rajdhanis.
While going to NDLS, it is stopped at Aligarh, to pass almost 6 Rajs and sometimes Duronto. Infact there are few samosa stalls just beside stations which I think pulls their major sale from Poorva every day.
During return, after half an hour it stops again to pass 6 Rajs again at a gap of 15 mins each and it becomes late by more than an hour which it hardly makes up.

Change in timings would certainly help this train maintain punctuality.

I completely purchase your opinion. Change of timing can only save the reputation of this train. I have travelled more than 20 times by this train from Hwh to Ndls but i wonder not a single time it has reached Ndls on time. 4-5 hrs delay has become normal for this train. While returning from Delhi Kalka Mail is better option than this train. Kalka normalyy reaches on time.
