I have booked this ticket for my time suitabillity. I have to reach bhopal from Indore..I can not reach there before 10 hrs.
This will 100% get confirmed. No need for anyone to cancel their tickets. There would be plenty of passengers who would be vacating their berths at Itarsi or Bhopal, and all these are wide open for you only. You will have to wait for charting of Bangalore quotas (18-april anytime 2 pm to 4 pm)
Mr Mayank
I also agree to MST Sir's logic, you have a good chance to get confirmed but still if you can not reach Bhopal before 10 pm then I suggest you one more train which is 2192 JBP NDLS SUP EXP which is having berths in 3A. It will leave Bhopal at 00:10 AM. But you have to book it for 19 Apr(Date will change after 12 midnight)

For some bloggers, this this is how the ticket will get confirmed. 2627 has 3 AC3T coaches. Bhopal to New Delhi tickets are given from BSL RL quota (I guess so, it may be other but does not change the analysis). Now this train has many passengers from Bangalore to Itarsi or Bhopal who are booked in the GN quota. Also some Solapur/GR to Bhopal or Itarsi who are booked in Solapur/GR RL quota. Now when the charting for Bangalore, GR, SUR quotas is done, the system detects that all these berths are unoccupied beyond Itarsi / Bhopal. It also sees that in other quotas, there are WL passengers, who can actually be "fitted" in those vacant slots. Hence the system confirms all such WL passengers during charting. These passengers do not have to wait for any cancellations in their own quota to get their booking confirmed.
