on 14.02.09, Rly Enq @ 139 said @ 9.05 p.m. the train as on time. At 10.10 p.m., when I reached the station, the train was stated to leave @ 1.00 a.m. on 15/02. Even @ 10.55 p.m. 139 was still saying the train as on right time. When I spoke to one Mr. Naveen, @ 139, I was told that this bein a special train no info would come to them. If so, why such incorrect info in the first place. The rakes did not arrive the designated platform till 1.30 a.m., though there was some meek announcement @ 12.55 a.m. that the rakes would be arriving @ 1.15 a.m. The train finally left @ 2.10 a.m. The position of the passengers, with kids and children hangin on the platform was ptiable and pathetic.

i am a bachelor, so I am used to these circumstances. But with wife and kids, I cannot imagine how great the problems are with these unpredictable timings. Maybe, with Special Trains, we have to be ready for all kinds of problems with timings, bad coaches, etc. Best is to take regular trains if you want to avoid problems.
