I wish to go to Kalahasthi temple.Can someone advise me to catch which train when I travel from Ernakulam? How far is the nearest rly station from the temple?And what is its name?
If you want direct train you have 6359 – Patna Express otherwise you can travel through Tirupati.
From Tirupathi you can get lot of non-stop busses to Srikalahasti.
In Srikalahasti, Rly. Station to temple normally we will pay Rs.15/- Rs.20/- for auto.

reach renugunta from there its 1 hrs only. buses go right in front of temple. railway station is 4-5 kms outside the town you will have to catch a auto from there.7231 and 6593 go stops at sri kalahasi also
Yes Renigunta is a good option if the train you are planning to take goes via this station.
