Which trains are called UP trains.. and which are called DOWN trains ?

OK Can you provide me link where i can find which train is Up and Which train is DOWN in actual
Kindly check theory with reality & find whats true!!
This UP & DN issue has been mugged many times!!
Only one thing was close enough & that was, if number even, train is Down, while if its Odd, train is up.
But to hamper this logic, SLN-AII & PNBE-INDB Express prevail.

To counter all these logic, i checked station board detail & the synopsis i mentioned in reply-8!!
& the outcome i poured!!

Few trains having even no while going away from primary maintenance station.
HWH-MAS coromandel is 2841 and opposite is 2842 MAS-HWH
BZA-MAS pinakini is 2711 and opposite is 2712.
