--SER to start cleaning drive at 7 differents stations--
Kharagpur and Haldia in Kharagpur division, Purulia and Burnpur in Adra division, Chakradharpur and Rourkela in CKP division, and Hatia in Ranchi division will have regular scheduled cleaning to ensure better service to passengers. Among these, some are old stations which need resurrection. Automatic announcement system will also be upgraded along with few soft upgrades based on region and station requirements. Dual pan(side) lift and dual direction escalators will be installed at Ranchi, Kharagpur, Purulia and Rourkela stations. Survey will be carried out at Santragachi and Tatanagar stations for the installation of lifts. Number of escalators will be increased at both stations.
