There should be one more garib rath between delhi and nanded/manmad/shirdi so that people from all walk of society can travel to above destinations at low cost.

my dear freind, this will happen only LALOO JEE will be, because MAMTA JEE is thinking only Bengal, her aim is election of bengal not to look railway ministry.
there is at present no rajdhani / garib rath plying on manmad route from new delhi. all the trains - sachkhand / jhelum / goa / karnataka are full & getting seats in them is always a problem.
so, if there is a train which takes say 13-14 hrs from new delhi to shirdi, it will be a boon to railways also.
Even tirupati has a direct train - sampark kranti, so why not shirdi.

I think you r right there should be atleast a garib rath on this side and authorities should focus on the chandigarh - nanded route for a garib rath, this will not only connect the punjab and haryana capital with the holy city of hazur sahib but also fulfill your demand of connecting the capital city-delhi with the main junction-manmad that also serves to pune....

I don't think there is need for a garib rath from Chandigarh as there is no garib ( poor) in that city. The city has been exclusively made for the rich. I think it should be renamed as Richgarh.
