i have booked a ticket for my friend i lucknow mail on 15 march from lko to ndls through my irctc id. but when i took the print out of the ticket,the ticket showed the passenger address and phone no. of mine which i feeded long time back when opening my irctc account .
i want to know from u knowledgeable persons does it amount to ticket being invalid or he can still travel using his pan card where address is not mentioned???

Address is not a problem. Any valid ID proof in original is sufficient, even if it carries another address.
address proof not required sir, just a photo i card will do or even a credit card issued by bank with photo will do
i just contacted irctc and asked the same.they told that no problem and he can have any of the nine ids .the executive told that address is printed as if there is any mishap in the train,then the relatives of the persons can be contacted by this........
no problem with the address.the ticket is valid with name pnr and age .nothing is seen except that..
