Converting of eTicket into regular counter bought ticket is not possible now. I feel this facility should be extended to the customers, as WL eTickets get automatically cancelled on chart preparation and one holding WL eTickets cannot enter the train, whereas those with counter bought Tickets even with higher WL numbers are able to board the train with the same. eTickets alongwith ID proof should be accepted at counters and converted into regular tickets.
instead of saying that eticket should be converted to i ticket, it should be written as eticket should have same facility as i ticket with regard to travel with WL tickets.
It wont be possible as one can take any number of eticket copies. Thats why I said that at the counter with ID proof the eTickets may be converted into iticket or counter bought tickets, if one opts for it.
assume if an eticket is converted to station ticket and one cancel the tickets who will give the refund there will be lotsa problems
so i dont think it will be possible

IRCTC can keep the same PNR no. as reflecting on e-ticket. If the person cancels thr ticket aftr converting since both PNR no's are same both can be treated as cancel which can also reflect in TT sheets.
