02201 Sealdah- Puri DURONTO Special Express headed by 22405 Howrah (HWH) shed WAP- 4E (ex. WAP-6 of ASN shed) skips Bidhan Nagar Road station on its inaugural run. The train was somewhat crawling at 30 km/hr due to a TSR (Temporary Speed Restriction) at Kankurgachi Road Junction Cabin just in between Sealdah and Bidhan Nagar Road. This is the first south going train which left from Sealdah. And as a matter of fact, this is also the very first passenger carrying train to use the ACC (Additional Chord Connector) Lines (via Bhatanagar), which was earlier used only by freights... The train will use the Rajchandrapur- Bhatanagar- Andul route, while the Shalimar- Patna Junction A.C. Duronto Express (which will be later introduced) will use the Santragachi Junction- Bhatanagar- Dankuni Junction route. Btw, railfan Anal Ghosh can also be seen in the video..
