RailFans don't miss their train. Why? Because they go to the station HOURS before the actual departure of their Train - to watch OTHER trains depart. - Prince Maan

Hi,
I have booked one I-ticket for tow passengers, one got confirmed and other one is waiting, in this case if the second one doesn't get confirmed, will both the tickets get canceled or the waiting one only.
Plz help.

as your Ticket is partially confirmed, your ticket will not get cancelled in case of both I and E tickets.
As yours is I ticket it will not get automatically cancelled even if both the passengers are in waiting list.
Before chart preparation you can get one passengers ticket cancelled at any reservation counter and after chart preparation you have to file TDR

Mr. Goyal,
Partially wait listed ticket never cancel automatically. In both E ticket or I ticket.

@other bloggers.
Mr Hetul is correct. Here is the rule:
Partconfirm/RAC/Waitlist
a. If on one PNR there is more than one pasenger and one passenger is having confirmed/RAC statusw and rest are on waitinglist or vice versa, names of all the passengers booked on such PNR will appear on the chart.
b.
...
more...
A certificate can be obtained from the Ticket Checking Staff in the train regarding non travelling of waitlisted passengers (note this carefully) on such tickets refund can be obtained thereafter (again note carefully last word)
(Trains at a glance Pages 257..)
Good wishes. There may be typos because I have typed it out !
