i was going through my niece's book when i came across this very page...can any one say,which station is this?no quiz...just curiosity...

Sorry guys... Sorry broad gauge.... I was mistaken .. Its not so.. Actually the "dual tracks" as u said , is for the different gauge trains to use the same track. Ones again sorry ...
so,its similar to sri lankan railways and bangladesh railways...where there aare three tracks...for eg.1 and 3 for bg and 1 and 2 for mg?is there any where else in india where such arrangement can be seen?
Ofcourse in Kerala, I know (Palakkad - Pollachi which is now under gauge conversion) . N just look at this map ...
Well all MRTS in Chennai are this kind.. However they are the worst maintained stations.. All escalators have got into a irrepairable condition and are now used as normal steps.. on OHE i guess this is how the MRTS layout is .. even the HYD has a similar setup.
