Sir already mas jtj sbc section is overloaded and in sa hsra line is single line. So its difficult to operate new trains from Bangalore to KL or TN via bwt jtj.
Extension to SSPN is due to terminal constraints at SBC. Slack is given due to SBC-SSPN being single line with lots of curves and ghats. And this gets the least priority between SBC and SSPN being looped at almost every other station in SBC-SSPN section giving way to incoming trains in the morning.
Due to single line its avg is low in sbc sspn section but i dont think except near mkl this is the only section in sbc div with very less curves. AFAIK sbc dmm section have very less curves compared to sbc jtj, sbc mys, sbc tk. Im telling this because in Sbc div only in this section 100 kmph psr is visible so literally it means this section is easily fit for 110 kmph. But as you told this train gets very least priority in Swr.
SBC JTJ has many curves in JTJ-KPN stretch when compared to KPN-SBC.
