i want to know about no. of seat for tatkal quota for ahmadnagar(ANG) for karanataka express to come to bangalore on 23 may 2010. today i want to rly. counter to book ticket but they said that it will be done tomorrow though train starts from new delhi on 22may2010 and it is not gurantee that you will get confirm ticket tomorrow.
i told him to book ticket from delhi to bangalore and to change boarding station to ahmadnagar. they said it is not possible in tatkal quota.
Please tell me there is...

The railway counter person must be lying to you. There is a facility to change the boarding station for tatkal tickets also. Your ANG quota for tatkaal is only 2 and is shared with other station enroute. Whereas if you book tatkal from NDLS to SBC in Sleeper , 288 tickets are available. But you need to go to the ticket counter early morning and see that you are 1st on the counter at 8.00am. However, if u wan to reach banglore on 23rd , the tatkal is already eaten up.
Thanks i will keep your advice and go for 3A.C. if not available in sleeper.
