BSY will give money from his pocket then it will be very good thing.. ha ha ha.. SMET to Harihar was short and good route compared to this SMET to RNR. Well BSY can make both lines functional cause he have his govt now and also money of public with him so he can use that money anywhere as per "HIS" Mentality and Priority..
Yes you got right. Ultimate winner is politics and its normal now a days in india and it is so called way of development also.
HRR-SMET would have been beneficial as it would help commuters from hrr and dvg. This route was chosen perhaps to include shikaripura on the railway map.
if SMET -HRR NL constructed then it connects HRR, UBL & HPT(central kar, Bombay Kar & hyd kar) but this SMET -RNR NL will connect only UBL.only reason why CM BSY agreed to this line is becz his own assembly constituency will get Railway line..
