Yes, during MG era, yeh station bahut sunsan hua karta tha. This station even had crossing line. There was one real story happened at that time during 60's-70's famous lady called Kadlimatti Kashibai. Ek Kannada movie bhi bana tha ispe in year 2000. click here
Even from SWR group also, most of them might not be knowing this. Only few people belonging to the Sur-Gdg-Ubl route, especially Bgk/Bjp districts has some idea on this. Our ancestors who knows this story had told us while traveling through this station during MG time. That movie gives us some idea how near by station's master warns of not to travel to this village in night.
