Should IRI has a database and an integrated search system for metros also?
Like if I want to travel from Ahmedabad to Rajiv Chowk in New Delhi, then I should DIRECTLY make a search between Ahmedabad and Rajiv Chowk-Delhi Metro instead of searching ADI-NDLS and then Google for metro timings, fare,etc.

🔹Metro trains will operate within short duration. So integration of regular trains and metro trains is not necessary. If site owner is interested in this integration then he (sir) can choose which city/cities for implementation on pilot basis
🔹With this integration other problems might arise like some metro stations and IR stations carry same name like Yeswantpur (Bengaluru), Guindy (Chennai) etc., Then there might be confusion for members during searching trains

The topic of bringing information related to metro trains in IRI was discussed many times earlier. But it was concluded that such information must not be added in IRI
If names are same then let them be..Dadar has 2 different stations in WR and CR zone, but to avoid confusion, the names are set as Dadar Central and Dadar Western....While indianrail.gov.in has both the stations with the same name and same spelling...
So if there are two stations with same name just like New Delhi metro and New Delhi railway station, then we can bifurcate between the two by just adding metro in the name of metro station...

I just told my opinion and what happened in the past. Inform your suggestion to Moderator sir because he is the ultimate decision taker. If he is ready to implement this suggestion then i don't have any issue from my side
