if we are travelling in day time from haridwar to Delhi, is it is necessary to buy 2nd sleeper ticket in express train? From which station, general route is treated in a train running between haridwar to delhi.

In the slow passengers running between Haridwar and Delhi you can travel unreserved in any bogie. These Expresses you can travel with unreserved ticket in the unreserved coaches-soem streches you are allowed to travel in any coach by unreserved but you have to wait for clarification from other bloggers in this strech
