I dont know the concept of Total seats on IRI. can anyone please help me to understand this concept. I tried to search in FAQ, but I didn't find that.

The "Tot Seats" figure gives you the Total Available seats for that quota between that pair of stations. This figure gets auto-populated while checking for availability. When checking before 8AM opening date, this figure is exact. When checking at other times a > figure (greater than) is added. This means that there are at least that many seats for that quota.
