I disagree.. Only a handful of WAP- 7 is equipped with HOG facility.. i of them belong to GZB shed, and a couple of them belong to LGD and HWH shed. Other WAP- 7 isnt equipped with the same, and you need EOG to support the power supply for the LHB rake..

except earlier wap-7s , all wap-7s i.e. majority are equipped with HOG , but it is never used in any train ,,, so no advantage in wap-7 over wap-4.
