That's my point. Instead of making a snake's route to Ranchi, why not provide VB straight till JSG or further! That will greatly benefit intermediate as well as end to end travellers.

I don't think it will end up at JSG or 518km it will eventually go to Sambalpur with pressure from local MP and RM being from Orissa. I have written many times that an intercity need to be introduced from ROU to HWH which acts as alternate to Steel Exp at 830 to HWH and also Gaya To HWH to act as extra intercity for Dhanbad at 830 but I don't see both of them coming with VB introductions by force. Though both intercities can take 1800-2000 travellers(guaranteed travellers throughput the year) each way IR will be more inclined to run VB with 500 to 1000 capacity though they fill half of capacity for 180 days.
RNC HWH VB will be on tracks but this is not the right time for it. Better focus currently on routes nearby where VB can get patronage i.e. the industry belt
