Skipping the Guntakal division would lead to negative profits for the railway because of the recent bypass built for the benefit of railways and passengers. Also, the doubling between Gadwal to Dhone will take another 4 to 5 years, but it may be useless because of the future full swing route from Krishna to Devakadra and Raichur to Gadwal. For example, why does every train stop at Vizag and take loco reversal before continuing the journey? Are we not wasting time and distance here, or is it for the convenience of passengers?
