Seems so. Prayagraj has couple of dedicated trains bound for Delhi that are much faster than this crawler.

The actual purpose of this extension seems to provide connectivity of enroute stations of MNQ - FBD - CPA to PRYJ, not Delhi to PRYJ.

however, delayed run was spoiling the entire game.

12319/20 KOAA ⇌ GWL (which recently got stop @ PRYJ ), all trains between MTJ KSJ FBD CPA head to Lucknow, may b a sheer coincidence.
