Lying next to Sangam railway station, it lies on a different route altogether. No FOB or loop lines. Very basic rail station.

No no, it is perfectly plotted in the atlas. Just now cross checked. The reason for which you are not able to see it possibly is its close proximity with another station Prayagraj Sangam (PYGS). The circle representing Daraganj's location in the atlas might have got shadowed because of that.
It is plotted but it seems circle is NOT displayed due to some reason. PFA
Anyways, Daraganj would be abandoned once Prayagraj Rambag - Jhusi section is doubled with a bridge on Ganga jee.

I know, the green circle representing DRGJ is not showing in the map. But that doesn't mean, it's not there. The circle for DRGJ has got shadowed by the circle for PYGS, which is very close to DRGJ.

I assume, that rail line will bypass Daraganj and go straight to Jhusi from Rambagh, leading to it's abandonment? Eithercase, not much scope for development of this station, so better to let it go altogether.
