Mangalore to Hubballi is not state capital route. if 50 omni busses are filled, y not 2 VB, VB also covering madgoan in additional to direct KA busses. Only problem is Castle rock to qulem crossing should be limited and both VB crossing should occur in good place to save time.

Surprisingly as of now no highlight from any of the local media on more stoppages for this VB as compared to the CBE-BNC VB where associations have already started flagging the early dep and extra running time.
On the contrary, saw few interviews where people were highlighting that the MAQ-MAO VB can serve as as a good connection for people travelling to Mumbai as well. They have an hour available in MAO and take the Madgoan Mumbai VB as a connection in case people want to travel towards Mumbai

I don't think anyone from coastal karnataka will travel in 2 VBs to reach Mumbai, that too in day time.
No halts of MAQ MAO VB at convenient places (Kundapura, Bhatkal/ Murudeshwar, Kumta, Ankola etc).
Can be a tourist train if it starts in the morning at MAQ and reaches Mumbai by night. As a direct train, not as 2 parts.
